Dear Blog,
I just found a check I haven't cashed. It's like finding a frozen dinner when you're starving late at night. Except the microwave is downtown and closed on Sundays.
Today I tied up four years of loose ends. My once unwieldy mass of a key chain is as bare as it was when first I arrived at the university. My brain, slightly less bare. So, that's it: I spent most of the day returning keys.
Oh, but I also had a delicious cupcake. Man. It was so good.
Later, I went to the honorary degrees dinner. Talk about high-tone and fancy to-do. Sheesh. I mean table cloths and gold-rimmed plates. And crystal! Oh, boy. The kind you can play music on. I was so tempted, but there were adults everywhere (and you know how they are).
