The Brunch Club
Dear Blog,
Went to a delicious graduation brunch this morning with friends. Afterwards, we spent a couple hours just talking about stuff we like. It was like it was the '50s, all us kids getting together and just chatting. Then we went down to the soda fountain before the school dance later that night.
I had a full day planned of beach-going and bowling and movies, and none of them happened. Washed my car though. She looks pretty nice now. Took her to the self-wash where there's a high power water gun. I pretended the baked-on bird doodies were enemy fighters and a blasted them to smithereens.
Then I started season 2 of The West Wing. It was unbelievable. I forgot how much I like it. I hadn't been with those characters since I finished season 1 sometime last year. It was like a big old reunion, except without the name tags or the cover band.
Ran cable under the apartment for the phone out back and came up short. Once I get another 100 feet of cable, it's gonna be so awesome! The only thing is it was so dirty under there. My white shirt turned brown and gray and when I blew my nose later, the boogers came out black.
Watched the third episode of season 2. God bless America.
